Torture...

Anthro is slowly torturing me with this new arrival.

reverse side

I want the Qawaya quilt so bad it hurts!  The worst of it is, I have a full sized mattress and Anthro only produces king, queen and twin.  WTH??  Am I the only one left that sleeps on a full?  Probably.  I think what I love the most is the reverse side.  Perhaps I can swing a twin at the end of the bed as a "throw" to give off a layered look.  That is one expensive alternative.
Happy Monday!

20x200; Admirable Art, Modest Pricing

I love 20x200!  For any of you who are not familiar with 20x200, they have based their business on two core goals:  They want everyone to collect art, and want to enable an economy that allows more artists to make a living by making work.  Another plus, all of the art is artist-signed and numbered to ensure the one you own is part of an exclusive edition.  And, once they are sold out that is it!  For anyone who enjoys original, not mass produced art, this is for you!  Admirable, affordable art at modest prices!
Here are a few of my favs that are currently available:
Finally, for days you feel like this...

Happy Hump Day!

Kate's Got The Look, So Can You...

L.K. Bennett light taupe 'Sledge' pumps are all the rage on both sides of the pond, thanks to Kate Middleton.  These beauties are now available at Nordstrom; however, nude just happens to not be an option according to the website.  Perhaps they are on back order?  There is only one thing preventing me from living without this wardrobe staple, a robust ticket around $345.  Since we all don't have the budget of a Duchess, some of us are, or need to be, penny-pinchers.  Finding a like alternative can prove to be a tedious task and test our shopping patience.  My alternative:
I declare a winner, hands down, do you??

Is Anyone Else Loving This Girl?

Not only do I love Lara Spencer's style, I love her attitude!  Her fun, light approach to life and design is uber refreshing. Her love for secondhand finds started when she was a wee-little one, scouting out yard sales every weekend with her mom.  As Lara says, "she taught me high style for low prices."  Lara lives by the three R's - Rescue, Recycle and Reinvent, words to live by, I say. I love a good treasure hunt like she does; I am guessing her demographic allows her to find much better quality and style than I do here in Indy.

I have not had a chance to read her new book, "I Brake for Yard Sales" yet, but I am looking forward to purchasing a copy soon.  I'm sure it will provide me with mad flea skills!
Here is the show-stopper, her Beverly Hills home.  She moved out west in 2010 from Connecticut, but she moved back east to do Good Morning America so I am unsure if she still owns her L.A. digs.  Regardless, it is a work of art.
See for yourself.

What do you think?  Pretty killer, eh?
Have a great weekend!
