I Am Back

I will make this short and sweet, my last post was on April 4th because my momma had fallen so ill due to complications from cancer.  My main focus was my mom and my family, making sure I was there for whatever she needed.
My sweet and loving mom passed away last week.
The grief overwhelming at times.  I am trying to get back to life as I know it, but it is presenting its challenges.  Thank you to all of my friends and family who have shown such incredible love and support.
A special thank you to my life-long BFF, Mary, I love you, Mary Ann loved you, I couldn't ask for a better friend.
Please excuse the lack of creativity at this point, I am just kind of liking looking at pretty pictures right now. I may be broken for awhile.

Also, what do you think about this mix-and-match lamp and shade?  It is more of a peacock blue in person.
I just liked it, thinking of buying it for no good reason.

Glad to be back

  1. Oh Sharon....I don't even have words. I am SO SO sorry. Wish I was close by to give you a hug and cry with you. My heart breaks for what you've been going through. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you heal. Wish I had more to offer but I know God is the only one who can speak to your broken heart right now. I will be having chats with Him for you- lots of them. Grieve and heal my friend! xo

  2. I feel the same as Sarah, I am just so terribly sorry for your family's loss, Sharon. I am happy you were able to spend time with her. God bless & keep all of you safe and well.

  3. oh my goodness deepest, deepest condolences. Just keep breathing babes....I will pray that you and your family will have the strength to live through grief. I'm sending prayers your way.

  4. So sad Sharon to hear that. My deepest condolences. I too have lost my mom from cancer and know exactly how you feel! Take your time girl, but keep in mind that whatever is that keeps you busy will only do you good!
    Kisses friend!

  5. I'm so proud of you for getting back in the saddle..Sometimes, putting one foot in front of the other is the hardest thing to do in a day. You have done it with grace. You have inspired me in ways I cannot put into words by the way you took care of Maddog. There is a little place in heaven for angels like you...I just hope it's 100 years from now, cuz I can't go thru anymore loss at the moment. Maddog would want you to come back stronger than ever!

  6. Oh no Sharon I am so sorry. I am impressed you can even pull all this pretty together. I hope it helps a little but I would imagine nothing does right now. Thinking of you xo

I LOVE your comments; keep them coming!
