As I was entering into spring, my goal was to start renovation on my kitchen. Well, not so much because of this little gal...
My sweet Harlow decided to eat a bunch of mulch and sticks and then proceeded to ingest a wreath bow, which got tangled in the sticks and mulch and could not move through the stomach, intestines and colon. Long story short, she has had 2 surgeries (almost lost her once), canine sepsis (hence the drain hanging out of her) and has had to get over several hurdles (high blood pressure, low body temp, fluid leakage risk, low protein, etc.). Today should be the last day of real worry. Her healing process internally should get stronger and stronger each day going forward. Crossing my fingers that total crisis is averted.
Soooo, what this all means from a financial standpoint is that I have decided to tackle the bonus room first, on my own (as much as I can). The bonus room is attached to the kitchen and the plan is to open up the kitchen to the bonus room and convert the bonus room into a dining/hearth room. The room currently consists of disgusting old Berber carpet that was never installed properly and gray-ish faux wood paneling. I will post photos tomorrow of the sheer ugliness that is my bonus room. Blaaaah!
Here are a few items that are lending me some wonderful inspiration for the transformation of this current space blunder.
How about some Madison & Grow, Elizabeth-Peacock on Shimmer Wallpaper?

What is your next project?
