Heart Has Turned to Gold

Back in the day, I used to think gold was gaudy.  I have officially tossed that notion right out the window!  Very simply, I can't get enough of it.  Gold isn't called the 'standard' for nothing.  While there are some pricey gold accents and accessories in home décor right now, there are also very reasonable alternatives; it just takes a little detective work to seek them out.

Bent on Style: A Textile Designer's Posh Parlor

Lately, I have been feeling uninspired design-wise.  I'm not sure why, maybe I just needed to take a step back and drink in spring to recharge.  Then I saw this.  A simplistic, yet thoughtfully collected, parlor in the home of textile goddess, Susan Hable Smith.  I absolutely love it. 

It pushed my restart button.

I am sooooo happy the end of the week is here.

I am going to have thoughts of this Clare Vivier clutch, exclusively for goop, dancing in my head until I buy it.
